Local Minds

This partnership brings together Richmond Borough Mind, Mind in Croydon and Mind in Kingston - three independent local charities working together to strengthen mental health support across South West London.

While each organisation remains locally led and responsive to the needs of its borough, working together allows us to share expertise, collaborate on services and reach more people who need support.

Richmond Borough Mind

Richmond Borough Mind has over 60 years’ experience providing mental health services in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. The organisation offers a range of support including counselling, crisis support, peer groups, wellbeing activities and services for carers and young people.

Their work focuses on helping people stay well, supporting recovery and ensuring people can access the right help at the right time.

Mind in Croydon

Mind in Croydon has been supporting people with mental health problems since 1967. The charity works with individuals, families and carers to promote positive mental health and reduce isolation.

Its services include advocacy, counselling, a crisis alternative to A&E, wellbeing activities and community support designed to help people develop skills, build confidence and lead full lives in their communities.

Mind in Kingston

Founded in 1972, Mind in Kingston provides recovery-focused services and support to people experiencing mental health issues in and around the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames.

The organisation works closely with local communities to reduce stigma, empower people to manage their mental health, and ensure people can access safe and trusted support when they need it most.
